augh. i totally forgot about sadie’s piercings. FUCK oh well. i didn’t like how the shading was in the comic (and liked the effect of the mini comic a lot) so i decided to do flat shades. i might get different intensities just so i can shade better. prismacolors, you are addictive. also, i decided to caps up the text. because my lowercase is pretty illegible.

jimmy’s middle name, “warren,” came about not only because it sounds rednecky, but because the tattoo on his right arm (not pictured, along with the “CHUG LIFE” tattoo, because he hadn’t gotten them yet) is inspired by “rabbit, run” and warren is the name for a group of rabbits. and like rabbit angstrom, jimmy has been grossly sexual and a complete coward in his personal relations throughout his life. he, however, is not a bigot. yeah, i like updike, save the misogyny. (this is tantamount to suicide in most contemporary writing circles.) WHATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT IT

anthony is not blonde, he is red-headed.

and beer DOES equal love. at least idealized love. hard liquor’s too harsh, wine is too sophisticated, wine coolers are too sweet. beer fills you up and makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
